Anyway suppose to rain today and my flying circle needed mowing. Wife knew I wasn't up to getting on our little rider so she grabbed the ball and ran.. Bless her heart...

You have a keeper for sure!!!!  There is no way in heck my wife would go out and cut a circle so I could fly model planes.

You better take care of her once your back gets in order. Flowers for starters, and I would think a good fancy dinner and a movie.

We really lucked out finding this place, we have 7 1/2 acres 20 minutes from downtown Tulsa. On the east side is a church with 7 acres and on the west side is the guy we bought the property from with 10 acres. I can fly anything anytime except Sunday mornings. The church says they can't hear a muffled engine but I try to be a good neighbor.

The down side is having 7 acres to mow and a 700 foot gravel drive to maintain. Speaking of gravel drives, we have a couple Killdeers that setup housekeeping in our drive every spring. Shot this this morning, she was telling me she didn't like me being that close

Guys, you dont realize just how neat the Reeves family (Bob, Pat and Gigi the stunt circle mascot) is.
When they visited us in Florida, it felt like we had known them forever.
Looking forward to another great Brodak visit with them in about 7 weeks.

Welcome anytime.. We have a great club with a good flying field but sometimes when another club member and/or I need to concentrate on trimming a new ship or sorting out a problem we will use my circle and shop to really get after it without the need to clear the circle for other flyers.

I really love this place but it does have it's issues.. Lost a bearing on my flail mower the other day so now I have to play mechanic and get it fixed before next week. An ex neighbor is going to rent the rear acre of our property, till it up and plant lavender. I need to get the grass cut before the guy he hired gets here to till it. Going to ask him how much he will charge to till an area for another circle while he is here. I have the equipment to level it after it's tilled but don't have a tiller.

Some of you may have read about our skunk/dog episode a while back.. Well I have the trap set but this time I wasn't after skunks.. An armadillo has decided my flying field is a good place to dig for food and I have been trying to catch the critter. Yesterday I looked out and discovered I had another skunk trapped. Believe me they still stink even if you put a bullet between the eyes. I dispatched him yesterday but have to deal with burying him and cleaning the trap up today, not fun..

This is one of the necessary toys when you have 7 acres to take care of, Pat calls me Arnold
