Every time I try to get anything done on my new (or rather ongoing) project, I run into obstacles. Just can't make real headway. What's the problem?

As someone who owns more than 1 cat....... and a few more than 2.... What you describe is a common occurance.
There is a direct correlation between cat and size of plans and sittability
When cat = a >/ Size of Paper x ( Plan + cat area ) the result is always Y.
What makes is worse is one of them has a habit of chewing Balsa, when a few months ago a newly finished flap was made to have a little more assymetry than the initial planed showed....... b1

Try Monokoting with a cat around the shop! Hairs everywhere.
-
I have 2 also...One likes to roll in the balsa shavings and chase the other around the house, needless to say my vacuum is getting wore out. mw~ I've given up laying plans out on the carpet to peruse them, your picture says it all. HB~>

My Maryanne, likes to get up on the bench and stick her face into whatever it is that I'm doing.
-
I believe my cat was a parrot in a previous life.....he loves to sit on my shoulder while I'm trying to, as accurately as possible; build something that will fly straight. Its hard to pay attention with a little motor purring along in your ear! LL~

You all need to get a demented poodle like my Sandy. Before that it was Tweedy that used to be my daughters cat. She would want me to hold her every time I went to the basement to work. At least the dogs, Sandy the poodle and Prissy the chihuahua will lay down and nap after I hold them a few minutes. H^^

My last plane had about two appearance points worth of cat hair in the clearcoat.
-
I can't have my cat in the shop. He comes in occasionally, hops on the chair and goes to sleep, but if he jumped on the building board, it would get ugly. Here's what he looks like.

now that is a flippen CAT

I think Mike should quit complaining about his winnie cat.

hey guys, I've been concerned for the three years we've had Optimus Prime as a family member that he would decide to frequent my workbench. So far, so good, I just brush him a bit and put him to sleep. That make him oblivious to all his surroundings.no matter the danger.
(I love all those pictures you guys have posted, neat looking fellows.)

Here's Spencer with one of his pals.

Awesome, Howard!

compressed air can fix any cat infestation you might have. In a pinch, a vacuum cleaner usually does the trick as well.

I think the problem is that it looks like the cat's basket is about 6 inches from the building table. Maybe moving it a few feet away might help?

That cat makes those kids look like littler people.
Shesh how many pounds is that cat...
-
I have six kittens that always help me in my building.
In the photos there orange is always watching the Oscars is not going to do anything wrong and the white cat is Vivi, and I think her face did not like the work.
-
I keep my beast named Harry in the house and out of the shop. I'm afraid he'd pick up a pin or 2.
-
My cat (called Big; what else?) is, according to my vet, 34lbs. I was concerned about his weight until the vet said he was a bit skinny for his bone structure and we should start feeding him more canned food.
Great.

More like a lion. Except the guy is about as laid back (or lazy) as any animal alive. Wait, maybe he is a Cougar

Randy, I wouldn't let Big out while it's still icy.
-
Yea, he already tried to walk across the yard. Dropped right through the ice and just about disappeared. I had to go out and rescue him. He's not the brightest bulb in the rack, but is kind of a cool guy.
-
I figured his mew would be pretty low.
-
I liek this one..

There are a lot of mighty fine looking critters here. It looks like they all fell into "the right stuff" at right places.
