It's been three days without internet service here, so I have missed a lot and it will take some time for me to catch up.

Hi Doc,

I am sorry that I could get there.  I did want to meet you in person! 

Things are almost back to normal.  I only need to take some Clorox down and mop the basement floors.  At least my wood and stuff was up and out of the water's way!

Welcome back! I hadn't heard that NC was flooding! I thought maybe you had moved to Texas where there's flooding everywhere. (just kidding)

Hi David,

It was a typical BAD thunderboomer that hit us.  We get those quite often.  This one had just the "right" combination of events to cause me a good bit of problems.  Fortunately, I have a pretty good surge protector, but it didn't help the surge that cam ethrough the cable and fried my ethernet card.  :o  :'(
