Hurricane (Not model related)
« on: October 06, 2020, 04:14:24 PM »
Hurricane Delta is now a Category 4 storm with 145MPH winds and is heading right for us here in New Orleans,  This is the 6th Hurricane that has entered the Gulf this season,   There are still 6000 displaced people here in New Orleans that are refugees from Lake Charles as a result of Hurricane Laura.  We still have lots of reminders from Katrina which hit 15 years ago with thousands of abandoned houses in the city,

If you are a person of faith, please offer up a prayer for the folks down here.  I know we have all been through a nightmare with the Corona virus but these storms have inflicted misery upon misery,

Thank you for your prayers,

Mike Griffin

My
prayers are adding you people.   If only we could aim those storms where they would do some good,  Like Portland and California. H^^

This is a bad year by all standards.  Many prayers needed. Many prayers prayed.

I've always said that RC makes C/L redundant.

Here is the really bad news about this storm.  The path has shifted west and now the poor people in Lake Charles look to take another hit and they have not yet recovered from Hurricane Laura.  New Orleans is not out of the cone but folks from Lake Charles to Lafayette are now in the bullseye once again.  We still have 6000 people here in New Orleans who are refugees from Laura.  this has been one Hell of a year in more ways than one.
