31 days of Huntersville circles?  I could handle that.  31 days of liver and onions served by Marge at the diner spot would be a bit much, but I eat liver - I could do it.

Unfortunately, my stunter and one of the movers' foot didn't do well.  I hope he has two flat tires one day (nobody has two spares).  In the rain.  On the way to his wedding.  With his future mother-in-law riding shotgun.  The day after a meal of bad fish.  A day before opening a letter from the IRS.

Do lumpers ever get audited?  I hope so.  Probably only on odd years.

Hmmmm......... thought I asked this question here (maybe it is posted somewhere else? LOL!!) but anyway.......

Howard, how is Classic/Nos. 30 going to be handled?  Since it is listed with a "slash" it appears it will be run on the same circle at the same time then broken down on the scoreboard. ???

Thanks, and I hope to be there on Friday.

At this time it will be flown as a single event.
As we start seeing more of the N30 planes we may split it.
Will Davis is the event director so I will ask him what his thoughts are about a separate event for each at our meeting this Sat. Mar 26th.
Come over and join us for the day

Nostalgia 30 will be run on Saturday.

We have too many events on Saturday to add another class ,If in the future we have the demand we can look at other options for the class ,,

So just one class for the Nostalgia / Classic  planes  will be run.  the Nostalgia 30 rules seem to be getting very popular, Open to any design that is 30 years old on the date of the contest .

See you at the Contest

Thanks, Will.

It can be confusing to add "Classic" to the listing since it isn't actually being flown.  Since everyone now knows what Nostalgia 30 is (well at least even I know! LOL!!) I don't see using Classic in the description unless separate awards will be given.  As it is listed, it appears Classic will "also" be flown.  We all know that a Classic "legal" model is eligible to fly in Nostalgia 30 (just like an OTS "legal" model could fly in Classic when Classic was implemented).

And it doesn't literally mean "Adding another Class", if Classic is offered, as you well know.  It is simply flying all the entries together (as was a part of the original proposal in the initial rules and the "Nostalgia 30/Classic" listing above already alludes to) then giving awards to the two classes depending on which class the pilot signs up for.  yeah, it means another three plaques, but no more judges or manpower needed. Of course, there might not be enough strictly "Nos. 30" models yet, but any OTS/Classic model is eligible, the pilot just declares what class he is flying when he registers. ;D

Just a bit confusing as posted.  I hope to enter "Nostalgia 30" (and using a "Classic" model! LOL!!).

Thanks
Bill

Thanks, Will.

Just seemed funny that Howard just wanted me to come over "for the day".  I know I haven't flown in a contest in a couple years now, so I guess people just thought I quit flying......... ;D
