STUNT / SCALE:
Sat: Basic, Old Time, Profile & Classic
     FAI Scale (Flight scoring only)
     AJ 404 Glider Fly Off
     Build & Fly
Sun.: PAMPA - Beg., Int., Adv. & Exp

COMBAT
SPEED LIMIT and 1/2a Combat at Huntersville, NC Sat-Sun June 2nd & 3rd
This will be part of the scheduled Stunt & Scale contest.
The site has improved from last year and I think it will be OK.
Same general rules as in the past.

Speed Limit: Sat. 9:00 pilots meeting
74.99 Max speed( 6.86sec for 2 laps).
Any airplane, engine, fuel system, NO shutoff. .60’ lines .018 dia. Cuts only.  Kill will count as a cut.

1/2a: Sat after Speed Limit. Or Sun. if Speed limit goes long.
High performance rules:
Any plane bearing engines up to .061 disp.
42 ft lines .012 dia.
Midair will not end match.
Triple or double elimination depending on the number of entries in each event.

Bill,
  Looking forward to seeing everyone at the contest . For the people that have not visited the Huntersville NC  flying site  , It is a permanent control line and R/C field  run by  Mecklenberg County Parks and Recreation  Dept .

   It will be reserved for Control Line only for the contest dates  , but has two paved and one grass circle available 7 days a week , daylight to dark,   for people that want to come in early .

Super weather at the contest site on Thursday and Friday,Lots of flights  all day .  Sunny and a little hot , but really nice wind and flying site is in  good shape with new paved circles, grass has been re seeded and recovered from paving last year .

Some of the people At The field, Watt Moore, Bill Mandakis, Bill Medders, Bill Francis, Stan Powell, Dave Hemstrought , Willis Swindell, John Tate , Pat Robinson, Ed Ruane , Charlie Reeves, Tom Luper , Chara Reeves , Tom Dixon, Gene Martine, Al Buck , John Rakes , and others were arriving when I left   mid afternoon on friday


  OTS ,Classic,Profile Stunt   and American Junior 404  Flyoff  on Sat , will update tomorrow night   night

Sunday was quite an adventure!  The TEOSAWKI can now be declared to be suitable for all-weather operations!

Sorry I missed it. I did the usual practice on Sat. here at home then drive up Sun. morn. and fly in the contest. Woke up, pooring rain and windy. Went back to bed. Saved  $1000.00 in gas.

I wish I could have been there too, at least Saturday.  You missed very little on Sunday, except the experience of being cold and wet.  The CD and his troops did a great job of salvaging something out of Sunday,especially the judges who were soaked in about five minutes but toughed it out.  Mother Nature handed them a real raw deal.
