Bill,
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the contest . For the people that have not visited the Huntersville NC flying site , It is a permanent control line and R/C field run by Mecklenberg County Parks and Recreation Dept .
It will be reserved for Control Line only for the contest dates , but has two paved and one grass circle available 7 days a week , daylight to dark, for people that want to come in early .
See you there ,

Sunday was quite an adventure! The TEOSAWKI can now be declared to be suitable for all-weather operations!

I really wish I could have been there.............

Sorry I missed it. I did the usual practice on Sat. here at home then drive up Sun. morn. and fly in the contest. Woke up, pooring rain and windy. Went back to bed. Saved $1000.00 in gas.

I wish I could have been there too, at least Saturday. You missed very little on Sunday, except the experience of being cold and wet. The CD and his troops did a great job of salvaging something out of Sunday, especially the judges who were soaked in about five minutes but toughed it out. Mother Nature handed them a real raw deal.
