Is this a yearly Contest? I would go but I'll be in California for the Chino Air Show that weekend.

Hi Robert,

It is actually "twice" yearly contest.  In May every year and again in October.  Great times at both!  I have been going for over 20 years.

Hi Will,

It is a "definite maybe" for Aaron and me.  I still cannot fly, and Aaron had not been able to practice.  Hopefully both will change in the next couple weeks.

Bob,

We are having nostalgia 30 only, hopefully in the near future we will have the extra room for a additional circles,  We have 4 now, but would like to have  paved circles on end of rc runway

then we will consider having both classes, (n 30 and classic )until then we have chosen to run just n30 and not combine  the event with classic on one circle

See you in a couple weeks

Weather was  a little windy today,  no rain in forecast , looks great for tomorrow,  got nice in the late afternoon, alot of hanger flying, Charlie Reeves has his new lark, what a piece of work, pictures to come later, gene Martine was here , alot of carrier, combat, not so much stunt flying, Curtis Comer put the most flights with the a TEOSAWKI, really looking good in the wind,

Alan Buck and John Rakes  came in today, Don Jenkins had is new Gieske Nobler, Tommy Luper was here with Terry McDowell, Bill. Mandakis,Artie Jessup, Stan  Powell,  Richard Snyder, alot more too..  Doug and Mickey Taffinder with alot of great stuff for sale , engines , kits, etc,,

We had  the  judges clinic this evening at 4pm, coached a couple new judges, had refresher for some others judges.  Went thru the PAMPA judges guide for the ama pattern , helped a few new flyers on procedures and rules of competition,, had good advice from NATS level judges, great productive day for a Friday before a contest,

Will try to get reports and photos tomorrow, of carrier, and combat and stunt for sat events

After a full day we went to the local fish camp and filled up on some Famous North Carolina seafood,  Watt Moore passed on a challenge to defend his title af gizzard eating champion

 Well maybe tomorrow night,
