Huntersville field

For those that visit the Charlotte area the Huntersville field is still closed. Parks dept has said that they are trying for a April 19 opening. The field has been closed since the day after our contest last fall. April 19th is two weeks before our spring contest and I have lost all respect for the parks dept and the dates they keep giving us. We are three months past the opening date they gave us when the field was closed. They are trying to grow grass and we are in the worst drought area in the country. I had less than 25 flight last year and this year I may get none if they wait for grass to grow.Do I sound frustrated
VD~YES YES YES.

Perhaps all of the club members could take turns watering the grass . (I know there's a joke in there somewhere)

Well, at this rate of drought, there's zero chance of there being grass there by May. Will Parks dept pull the plug on the contest?
