Akromaster my way...

Here WAS an Akromaster that I have bashed into a Cessna Agwagon. At this stage all that is Akromaster is the L/E and T/E (albeit extended), ribs (extras duplicated) and the maple engine mounts. Everything else is from scratch, just figuring as I go. The model now has a 42" span and 1 3/4" longer tail moment with larger tail surfaces as well. The aluminum gear is also from scratch with Brodak 2" wheels. Power will be a trusty old Fox .19.
She'll get painted up and detailed just like a real one!

Well Wayne, I like your ideas!  That is a very nice "modified" Akromaster!

I like it, I have one with a streched wing and fuse that is painted similar to the T-28 looking model in the background of your picture.  How about a couple shots and some details on that one- it looks like you have trike gear on it.

 It might, but this model won't see those maneuvers anyway, at least not by me! By the way, there is about 1" diehedral built into this wing as well.

Nice job, Wayne
We call those planes the Southeast Missouri Air Show.  From Early Spring to late Fall, you can see one or several almost all of the time during "agricultural aerobatics".  They have GPS to find the field they are spraying, turboprop engines swinging 4 bladed props and they haul 800 gallons of spray (over 2 tons).  They are more sophisticated that the military air forces of some countries.

The Akromaster is a great design for kit-bashing!  Its big brother, the Twister is, also.
