Hey Guys
First time I have put a prop on a electric 1/2a.
This seems a little sketchy to me. It is just looped over once or do I double it?

Looks right to me. If its too tight it will not "release" on a nose over nor save the prop. Only trouble I ever had was I had to slightly chamfer the back of the hole (sometimes) to get it to settle flat onto the hub face plus center on the hub.
Take spare O-rings to the field. If/when they do pop-off the chances of finding the ring are slim & none...

Thanks Dennis.
I will need to order a pack of rings. 🤣

Looks good, do you fly combat? You can use 1/4"id 1/16" wall surgical tubing and cut your own O rings.

No combat but I got some tubing from Windy. 😉

Well I spun it up and must have been too fast. Broke the O ring. Guess I need to slow it down. 🤪

Hmm, that shouldn't happen I've used O rings up to 8X6 SF props with no issues, try cutting a o-ring about 3/32" thick, it should hold.

O-ring might have had a crack in it. Also, just to be safe, break the corner on the edge of prop hub.

Those o-rings don’t like bolt threads. Cover the threads with a small piece of fuel tubing or a couple wraps of whatever adhesive tape you can reach from where you’re sitting.
