Best way is to download an app called Taptalk. Then subscribe to  Stunthangar. Only problem to can only upload 1 medium size photo unless you go premium.

Upload to the Mac, edit with GraphicConvertor to scale of about 14" on the long dimension, save to JPG with a "reduce quality to hit target size" and set the target size to 250k.

Paul I use an iPhone 5.   You can upload photos without any apps but you have to resize each photo first-which is a pain.   The newer the phone,  the better the pics, the WORSE the problem.   Sharper pics mean many more pixels.   The website limits the number of pixels it will accept per photo.  My old '4' was easier to load than my '5S'.   Your '8' probably worse yet.   After you take a photo you have to go back in and crop it down to smaller size to a point the website will take it.   When I first got this phone a dropdown would offer me a choice of sizes and I could choose something less than 100 MB.  They did a software 'upgrade' at some point and that dropdown went away.   It does take a few minutes to do all this.   This is mostly why I stopped doing many photos with my Nats reports.   I'd spent most of a flight getting one photo sized down enough to send it and miss the rest of the flight.  The apps mentioned might be a good idea.  I'd guess they are resizing for you to a set spec.

Walter was asking not me. 🤣

I have a 15pro and like you said it’s a PITA to resize before posting. Taptalk does the resize for you in the app. I think Sparky recommended awhile back.

You can email the pictures from your phone to your laptop or whatever computer you use, save them to your desktop, where you can find them, and use Irfanview to resize them before you post them here.

Irfanview is a free program you can download off the internet.  When I flew as an Aerial Photographer for the Civil Air Patrol, I used Irfanview to resize the pictures and clear up haze and then used another program called Robo Geo to geo tag them (metadata) before uploading them to FEMA and GOSHEP.

This is about the same as I do except occasionally I email the pix back to the phone.
When emailing a pix from iphone 11 (my iphone) there is a size selection popdown just before sending the email.
When sending back to the iphone, collect the email then save the attachment to 'photos' in the iphone.
Then upload or email somewhere else from there.
Works good....I've done this on this forum.
No other app required.

Posted this picture in 5 taps on my phone.

1. Reply
2. Attach
3. Pick photo
4. Select size

Do it free, from anywhere. No laptop or PC needed to resize and resend. Easy-peezy.

If you have a phone like the gentleman in the cartoon, then I see where the problem lies.  :##   LL~

But seriously, there are a number of various solutions depending where one is at. For me, I take the photo with my Android LG V20 phone. Then attach the photo to an E-mail and send to myself.

Then using my desktop computer, download from the E-mail, then import photo into free GIMP - (G)nu (I)mage (M)anipulation (P)rogram, change photo resolution to 800 pixels in the longest direction. Export to Jpeg (.jpg). Then upload here.

I think the iPhone 8 release coincided with the introduction of Apple's iOS 11 operating system which by default shoots photos in their proprietary photo format of HEIF. I don't know if Stunthangar accepts this format, but if you want the greater general compatibility of JPEG photos, you can easily set your phone to shoot in this format.

Go to Settings --> Camera --> Formats --> Select "Most Compatible"

Plan A: I take the pitchers with a camera and download from the chip to my desktop tower computer. Then downsize below 1 megaton to comply with StuntHanger.

Plan B:  If, for some reason, I take self phone pitchers I want to post, I e mail them to my computer and post to SH from there.  I'm sure there are countless other paths, but these are mine.

Plan C: I have not tried this yet.  But I should be able to post to facebook from my self fone and copy from FB to my computer and thence to SH.

I don't have a genius phone, but I sometimes get my fishing buddy to email me (from the boat) a picture of the biggest bass I just caught, from his iPhone 13. It takes him seconds to take 4-5 pics and email them. I look at them in my email and then save the best one and might use IrfanView to crop and compress. When I was using IrfanView fairly frequently, I timed myself and did a pic in 15 seconds, a lot of which was thinking of a picture title and typing it out. Easy peasy. I downloaded IrfanView from a site called "TuCows" or "2 Cows" or something like that. You do have to download the correct software for your computer type, meaning Mac, Windows, etc. y1 Steve
