Title: How do I add new e mail addresses to my current list?
Post by: frank mccune on August 26, 2015, 09:35:46 AM
     Hi All:

I need to know how I may add new member's e mail addresses to my current club e mail list.

I am using yahoo mail and Windows 10.

I go to the name of my model airplane club and hit add new members.

A page comes up that request the new member's name and e mail address.

I fill in the information and hit SAVE at the bottom of the page.

This takes me to his web address for a private message.

Nothing is added to my list of current of club members.

What am I doing wrong? How may I do this correctly?

I made up the original list with no problems but now I am baffled!

                                                                                                          Tia,

                                                                                                          Frank McCune

Are you sure you are entering an email address and not a URL. It is also possible he has his email setup to go to his website. Send him a message and ask.

Well one way that should work is to create an Excel file with names in column A and emails in column B. Then save the workbook as a comma spliced file (csv file) and import the csv file into your membership contact list.

A lot of  messing around for just a few contacts.

No doubt there is an easy straight forward way!

I learned to hate Yahoo Mail and don't use it anymore!
