Thanks to Clancy, Jack, Steve, Doc and everyone else that was there.  I had a great time and got in a few laps on Clancy's Ringmaster trainer.  It was my first flight in more than 25 years and although it was short  ;) it was enough to ramp up the interest.  Lots of great people to talk to and fly with (entertaining too!) and some sweet looking airplanes out there as well!

Special thanks to Clancy for inviting me down and showing  me all the toys, That P-38 is amazing!

Sooo, I'm looking forward to coming down again maybe...hopefully.... with something airworthy of my own LL~ LL~ LL~
I've started plenty...would be nice to finish something!!!

hi Dennis,

Sounds like you are having a great time getting back into C/L!

Jack and the boys I have met from Indy are a great bunch of guys, for sure! ;D

Do you know if Jim Vornholt there by chance?  He told me he had been going to some of the meetings lately.  Jim won Junior at the '60 and '61 NATS and is getting back to flying.  Another of the really nice guys there.

Thanks Bill, yes I am definitely having some fun!

Clancy mentioned that Jim had recently come back to flying after a 30 year sabatical, although I don't think he was there last Tuesday.

I suspect many of them will be in Muncie this weekend

Is Jim going to build another one of his ME 262's?  Maybe a updated version.  #^

We have been discussing the Airon since I am trying to get it published with his, and Allen B.'s help.  We discussed the ME 262, he liked the bubble canopy version he built, better, but hasn't said anything abut new construction.  He is refinishing his Carousel, the '60 NATS Junior winner, and he has another plane he is painting, maybe a Mackey Lark?
