What's happening at Scobee field?
I may be wrong but I doubt it.
I wouldn't take her to a dog fight even if she had a chance to win.

Lots of fun lol.

I flew the full pattern yesterday in Profile for first time ever. No skill classes so i went in heads first.

402.5 1st round
375 2nd round. Ran out fuel after 1st inside and missed out on points.

Flew with the Ringmaster

Goodbye beginner.

How's the wind?
5-6mph at best. Every now and then a gust.  But its nice.

Hey Gerald. I took 3rd put if 3 pilots that flew . Was fun and a great learning experience and i thank my 2 coaches John Blanchard and Steve Millet for all tg2e guidance and help that got me this far. Especially Steve for laying on the hot concrete to help me with manuevers as i flew.   And Mark Troutman. The wealth of flying and judging knowledge I got as we sat together for the whole event was worth the trip alone.

Sadly the only plane pics I have is Gaylord Elley's Caudron and Frank McMillan's twin electric Comet with retracts!!!!!!!

Hello Jamie
Thanks for the pictures from Scobee field, both impressive models. Nothing improves you flying /experience like competing in a contest!

Sounds like had same conditions we had in KANSAS today.   That Sun was mean and some how I managed to fly the over head maneuvers and get a Third in INT/ADV of 6 pilots.   Pictures will be forthcoming as I rest up or recover. D>K
