The NOAA Aviation Weather web site is indicating no rain, 90 deg highs, 75 deg lows, and a SE wind at about 10 knts for Fri, Sat and Sun.  Sounds like it should be a good weekend.  I plan to be there.

Just got home from the Houston Contest, Patty and I had a great time.
Super facility to fly at and we definitely look forward to attending again next year.
Dinner Saturday evening at Chuey’s and continued conversations from the day was a blast.
Thanks to everyone for such a fun weekend.

What Russell said. I, on the other hand, called our son in Slaughter, La for advise on sticking brakes and he drove out with his trailer and dragged us home by 1430 Sunday. Monday morning we replaced the front calipers and hoses at his place. We did get in a first time stop at the Baytown Buc-ee,s.

I may be wrong but I doubt it.
I wouldn't take her to a dog fight even if she had a chance to win.

Perry .... sorry you had vehicle trouble ... we missed you on Sunday .... It was good to see you again and you were flying quite well.
Its like a family reunion to see everyone each year.  Next year for sure ..... 3-5 mph winds .... not 35.

Frank,

I'm sorry I missed the fun.  We made the trip down, but in the preparation for going to your field on Friday to practice, I discovered that I had left my field case back at home.  AAARRRGGGG!!!!!!!!  It would have been workable except that all my flying lines and handles were in the case.  I decided to pack up and go home so I could get back to work on the FW 190 project.  Its getting very close to paint and I am anxious to finish it.  Hearing about the winds on Saturday and Sunday, I guess I didn't miss much in the way of flying, but I missed being there.  Hopefully, next year I'll get it all together.  Sorry I missed it.

That is a real heart breaker.  I can't wait to see the FW-190 finished so maybe it is for the best.
