This gives new meaning to the phrase "the finger". Worn out Torpedo 35 and Graupner prop. 5 1/2 hours and 4 stitches.

Ouch!! I managed to stop a Testors 29  series 21 once with my left thumb while flying alone. I'm glad I had a roll of paper towels along. Only 3 stitches but they had to x ray it to make sure the bone wasn't damaged. Thumbnails grow back slowly too!

Guess its too late to say BE CAREFUL, except to remind you to BE CAREFUL keeping it clean and helping it heal up right.

Looks like that Torp might still have some like in it!

I pumped it full of oil to start it. That made it do some strange things. I have a lot of experience with care of cuts. I used to work aircraft sheet metal.

I hope it heals all proper like. I have been lucky and never had a problem with a prop, but just put a No. 11 blade in my hand and I tend to self destruct. My last trip to the emergency was to repair a Dubro hinge slot in my left hand, OUCH ! ! Take care.

OUCH Dude!One more reason I use a heavy leather glove to flip my props.
