I knew there was a reason I like my new son-in-law, Ted. He works for Goodyear Distribution and has arranged for me and my oldest grand-daughter, Maggie, to get a one hour ride in the Goodyear blimp. Got to get on the phone tomorrow and get it scheduled. We have to go to Pompano Beach for it, but that is only about 3 hours away.
Man, what a fantastic Christmas present. I am one happy old man!!!

I have been able to ride in it twice in the Portland area. You will love the take off and landing. No seat belts and school bus seats.

I was treated to a blimp ride in the Goodyear blimp "Columbia" about 1979. My dad was a Goodyear wholesale associate in Sacramento. The whole family got to ride and we still have some great pictures of that day.
Bill, welcome to an elite group. Not too many get to say they rode in the Goodyear blimp!
