Since it is no longer available hobby poxy glue
what is a good substitute?

Hobby Poxy what? Glue, paint, primer? Klass Kote has the primer and paint part covered. As for glue or laminating resin, some like System 3 epoxy real well. It's not easy to find a 4 hr. + epoxy glue anymore. Everybody's impatient, I guess. What's the Rush?  #^ Steve

For slow epoxy glue it is hard to beat West System epoxies.  There are a couple similar products like System 3, and Epiglass by Interlux.  Aircraft Spruce has some other offerings.
