I saw a few posts that Hobby King has closed it's US warehouses and is filing for bankruptcy. It might be a good time to snatch up some of their inexpensive profile carbon fiber landing gear. Site shows in stock on both sizes and I ordered 6 sets. We'll see if they show up. They run small IMO. The 40 to 60 are just right for a 35 sized profile. The 80 to 100 I use on 46 and larger profiles. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/catalogsearch/result/?q=profile%20landing%20gear

hobby king proper is filing for bankruptcy, or just whatever US shell they created?

Found this recent notice about FCC imposing penalty on them. I bet this is related to shutdown in USA.
FCC issues a $2.8 million fine against HobbyKing for marketing noncompliant transmitters used to relay video from drones to amateur drone operators that could apparently operate on unauthorized radio frequencies and power levels

After Hobby King notified me carbon fiber gear was available I ordered at 9pm Friday night. Arrived 1:30pm today. (Monday)
64.5 hours from Hong Kong to my house in Oregon via DHL express. Pictured is the smaller size.

Wasn't the HobbyKing bankruptcy scare and FCC fine from 2018??? Are you sure your info is up to date? I've been to the US HobbyKing warehouse at least twice in the past month and it is alive and well. (In Tualitin Oregon)

Looks like you are correct Pat. Old news, but I just saw it in my feed and assumed it was current. (oops) Oh well, at least I'm all set on carbon fiber landing gear for the next few models. #^ #^

Nothing like the old panic button. S?P

Not completely old news. The FCC assessed the fine of $2,861,128 in 2018. The recent action a couple of days ago is the FCC final forfeiture order. They now have 30 days to pay the fine. We’ll have to see what happens next.

IDK, its pretty clear if you are selling type approved equipment or not.
FCC doesn't just wait and slap you with a big fine. They compel you to willingly comply first.
Hobby King has been giving the finger to the FCC for a long time now. The FCC finally brought down the hammer.

Why do we always have to be the road kill in the fight between the Drones and the Government. Hobby King provides good service, good prices and products that are not top drawer but also not crap. What they did was wrong and if you read the order, pretty arrogant, sort of like the government. I hope they pay the fine, opps, we pay the fine. Bureaucrats seem to forget that corporations of this size simply pass taxes and fines on to us.

DHL just delivered my order in 7 days from Hong Kong to Nashville TN. Not too shabby.
