Post by: Greg McCoy on February 24, 2010, 08:31:07 PM
I just came across this engine collection photography. This person has a large collection, and a good camera.

Hmm,

Was looking at this site on my son-in-laws high end computer, and found that opening any of the expanded views changes the colors! For instance, the Cox TD .051 thumbnails show the normal red carb housing, but opening the expanded view in any resolution changes that to bright blue! Same for all the other red head engines I viewed. Thought something was screwed up on his computer.

Just looked again here at home, and it's the same color change? Is this possibly some form of copy protection?

Colors remain the same for me.

Greg,

Now that is really strange!  ???

Our computers are both using Window operating systems, but different versions so that can't be the problem.

Hard to imagine that ONE PERSON has all those engines!  I just love the NAZI Felgiebel (very popular with Hitler Youth in the '30s).  Also missing; my favorite; Elfin 1.8cc diesel.

Floyd, I think he has collaborators, found a page with a list of names/engines.

Now I understand.  But his "collaboradores" list doesn't cover all the engines in the collection.

  Hello Jose
I looked at your collection and all the photos are excellent I liked them a lot. I wish I had a colection like yours. At this time I have 200 2 stroke engines between C/L  and R/C. Here is a pic of my K&B infants .049,.035,.020 and a PAL replica .020 infant.
