Thanks for providing that link. I build miniatures, but that type of craftsmanship is beyond my imagination. I am sending the link to a couple of friends of mine who are in the same league. Interestingly the person that is considered to be as good as anyone in the world is a woman. If any women see this I am not really a "male chauvinistic pig" well maybe a pig.

This Spit was here or on Stuka (nice irony there) about a year ago, followed by links to a RUNNING 1/4 scale Rolls-Royce Merlin made from about 300 castings, and as if that wasn't enough, a 1/3 scale, RUNNING and fully operational Ferrari race car built by an engineer in Italy. Could be driven if a 1/3 scale driver was available. Something like 20,000 hours of work. These projects put our humble 300-hour hand-rubbed front-row finishes kinda in perspective, no?

Razorback or Bubble canopy?  Either way I am sure it will be immaculate.   I understand that documentation is the key in scale. y1

This is a 1/6 scale dual overhead cams straight eight engine. There are no castings. The block was machined from a 40 pound block of cast iron. It is about 7 inches long.

I don't like the looks of the razor back. I have been asked sevral times if I was going to ever going to build a Razor back. The answer is NO I DON'T LIKE THE LOOKS.

You guys have already seen what a pilot has done for me. NOTHING!
