One of my RC club members built one of those from scratch, including the programming. He had it set up so that every time you flipped the switch it randomly picked from four or five different sequences. Sometimes it'd just turn the thing off, sometimes it'd come out half way, then snap back, then turn it off, sometimes it'd be slow, sometimes fast, etc.

The optional Schrödinger upgrade includes a cat paw flipping the switch.

I thought it needs flashing LED lights on the side...not that they'd actually mean anything... LL~ Steve

Heisenberg and Shrödinger were driving down the road when they got pulled over by a cop.
The cop asked Heisenberg "Do you know how fast you were going?"
"No" replied Heisenberg "but I do know exactly where I was."
Then the cop demanded to look in the trunk. Shrödinger said "OK".
The cop opened it and said "Hey! There's a cat in here and it's dead!"
Shrödinger replied "Well, it is now."

Clearly they were atop the police cruiser that pulled over the aforementioned "dangerous duo."

The scarier do-nothing box was around in the 1970's. Turn it off and in a few seconds it let out this horrible cacophiny of ugly noise.
Turn it off, and in a second or two, the "finger" cqme out and turned itslef back ON!
Yeah, that finger...

Don't use the term "flashing LEDs" they are blinkenlites.
