Hey Sparky, It was a pleasure meeting you and talking. Your T-Bolt is a real example of craftsmanship and an inspiration for sure. It certainly lit my fire and desire to create something that I would not be ashamed to bring to a contest. At my age, I will never compete on the level that you do, but I certainly do intend to be flying at Huntersville next spring..The T-Bolt is spectacular in the air, even with Randy flying it VD~ Glad that your trip home was safe and uneventfull...Regards, Phil

Robert ,
I would personally like to thank you and Gary on behalf of The Metrolina Control Line Society for making the long trek to come fly with us. You guys helped to make this a great weekend.  It was fun talking with you guys and your Thunderbolt is a Definite WOW!! and "JOY TO BEHOLD". Anyway, I just decided I need to give you guys my "big ole" southern personal thanks and you are most welcome to come back to fly with us anytime.

Thank you it was worth the trip. We had a great time. Could someone please post the Expert scores? (Picture)

508 I know I didn't do too good.

I make no excuses for my performance. I did want to show some of the guys I have never seen before my work. Flying is getting better this year and maybe by next year I will have it dialed in to make a complete package. There is no easy way to the top!

Sparky,

Yea, we have those days. Last contest of the year (that I flew in), the engine quite in the overheads. Hmm, fall back and regroup. Second flight it quit in the clover. The silly thing had run like a clock all season and of course at the contest, it gets gremlins. Such is life.

Sparky
I’m glad to finally get to meet you. The P47 is a knock out and the workmanship is awesome.

I had forgot to ask you abut the line tension. Shouldn't have to squat in the overheads!!  **)

Robert,

What is the setup on your 75?

prop?
head clearance?
pipe type and length?

You know the usual stuff.  Just curious as to how you are running yours.
