Hey Shug -
just caught your introduction to control line flying on youtube. Well done! I really enjoyed the way you presented the subject. Very modern editing with just the right amount of time on each point covered. The crashes at the end were all to familiar :) well, to the way my flying days end...

Thanks Mark....I appreciate that. Now I need to do one on handles and lines and a few other things as many have requested on You Tube. Many are just being introduced to control line or surprised to see that it lives on. Also, many of the You Tube viewers would like videos on each stunt and how to fly it etc. May have to enlist the help of better flyers to pull that one off. Maybe next flying season for that.

On handles, the more overhang you have the less responsive the controls are. The plane you fly with the wood cable handle, your favorite, put the hard point handle on it and fly. Even the line spacing up so they are set the same. You won't like the way the plane flys. Then shorten the overhang on the hardpoint handle and fly it. It does make a difference.

To me there is no best handle my Scorpio and Big Job fly best with an over hang handle ,but the Formula -S likes a hard point .so try Diff handles and see which one works for u on each plane
