Friends,
I'm loath to make this post for a number of reasons. First of all I hate to see a good friend enduring such miserable conditions of health, and second because some may find this message a bit cold under the circumstances. However, Larry would be the first to admit to the need to keep all informed to the greatest degree possible.
Larry Cunningham, Editor of Control Line World magazine, has suffered a severe set-back in his ongoing battle with diabetes. Late last Thursday he was admitted to the hospital where he will remain until sufficient testing can determine the best approach for his treatment.
Long before, and everyday since his retirement just one month ago, Larry has been dedicated to compiling and laying out the very first issue of Control Line World. And of all things, he's looking forward to recovering so he can bust his behind and get on with the inaugural issue and those that will follow. Those were his words to me just last evening. So, the initially planned release date of June 15, 2006 will necessarily be delayed by some unknown amount of time.
However, Larry's health is of prime importance and the priority issue. And since Control Line World is pretty much his baby, the release of the premier issue will be delayed indefinately until such time as Larry is recovered and healthy to the point of resuming Editorial activities.
John Brodak and the staff of Control Line World magazine request your understanding in this matter. Since no financial transactions have transpired to this date, the magazine, including ads, material submissions, photo's, and any other data will be held in abeyance until further notice.
Updates on the activity of Control Line World will be submitted to the available forums as necessary and hopefully the controllineworld.com website will be activated sometime during the first week in June.
Please send get well cards or call Larry and wish him well in person.

In the "Larry Cunningham Critically Ill" post, Gary Marchand has detailed the gravity of Larry's condition. Gary has personnaly visited with Larry in the hospital and I'm very grateful for that. Thank you Gary for taking the time and making such an effort to console our dear friend.
