Here is where I'm at...

I have learn a ton on this kit. My first built up fuse. I hope to have it dialed in for the Memphis Stunt Classic.

I hope the tornado's are gong by September.

This is the kit I won a few years ago here on Stunt Hanger. I figured I was ready for a better plane.

Thanks guys.
I have tried to apply what I have learned here. I put all the heavy wood on the outboard side of the plane. The wing came in under 9oz. I have not put the fuse and tail parts on the scale yet. Anyone know what my target weight should be? I still have a lot of sanding to do.

Power is a OS LA 46. I will be looking for a light muffler.

(I am sitting here watching the third storm roll thur the mid south. Zuriel hope you guys are OK.)

Paul, contact Scott Dinger for a 1/2oz tube muffler. He's listed in the PAMPA membership manual. The plane looks good!

What is it?

It appears to be a Vector with slightly modified cockpit area.

Looks like a Vector 40 to me... target weight would be around 40 Oz, but will more likely end up around 45.

Better to just use colour tissue then , with maybe a stripe or two.

Better to have a pretty flying aeroplane than a pretty looking one.

And it saves money and time >:DIf its well built it showscases that
Back 75 My Giese Nobler weighed the same as bob's, thought it was
pretty cool haveing one that flew as well as the World Champs.

Paul 45 to 46oz with a LA46 in good trim will out fly most of us, the Vector 40 is a great 40 size ship.

Yup its a Vector 40. Decks are not glued on yet and cockpit is not finished. Still a lot of work to be done.

David, I will cover the wings / stab in polyspan and silkspan on the rest. Dope and a shot of clear. Going to try and keep it simple.

Looks like you are ready to move up in the stunt wars. Looks very good. The goal is to get better with each build and you seem to be doing just that. Cool.
