Ryan and I are building two Scrappers.
Here are the pictures of mine. I will let Ryan post pictures of his.

I got the rib template from my flying buddy Kreth. He cut out the fuse and set the engine spacing up for my power house Fox .25. Can you say SLOOOW?
It should be a kick in the pants. **)

With little tiny holes for the leadout wire there is no way to adjust your leadouts. Also you do not want your leadouts to be 3 inches apart at the wingtip . 1 inch would be better.A friend of mine who is on here a lot forgot the holes for the leadout wire on a D-tube wing. That was fun to fix.Right EV Just though I would mention it before you covered the wing

Where does the fuel tank go? I figured the tank was inside the wing, but don't see anyplace to put it (yet).  %^ Steve

Yup the tank will  be in the wing with the tubes poking out.
Sheeting the LE and will cover in "silk ch-fawn".
(Not sure on the spelling, but that is how it sounds.) :!

Looks great Paul.  Do you have an extra set of plans or know where to get them.

Hey Art,
I will see if I can get a copy for you from Kreth. The wing is built different then what the plans show. The ribs are the same, just the spar is different.
It is a real tough wing built the way the picture shows. Kreth made a real slick jig for it. Just slip in the ribs and the spar in along with the LE and TE then tack it. Pull the wing out of the jig in 5 mins. y1
I think you could almost drive a 16 Penny nail with it.

Paul, assuming you're putting a metal tank in the Scrapper...Fit a brass or steel washer over each tube, down as tight to the tank as you can, and re-solder. This was the only way I found (in the '60's) to prevent the tubes from coming loose and leaking. If you don't do this, you will regret it!  y1 Steve
