It looks bad but it feels real slick.
I went to Jim's shop and put fillets on. Got them on the wing and stab. Still need to get a fillet around canopy. I hope to get some color on this weekend.

And not sure why when I post pictures from my phone the photos come out inverted. HB~>
When I open the photo it is correct on my phone.

Do you know you left your keys in the door?

Yes those are keys to Jim's shop and his hangar. I wish I had a set. He has two out buildings in his backyard. I could put a cot in either one a camp out for weeks!

IPhone? Some software uses embedded info and rotates photos to upright and some not. The phone does it, as does the viewer on my computer, but not when I send or post unless I have rotated and re-saved. If you are using an IPhone, and probably others, there is an up and down when pictures are shot in the horizontal longitudinal direction, and that is volume buttons down.

I had to chuckle when Crist noticed the keys in the door. I remember when I used to post photos of my planes in the shop, I would get some comments on the plane but the stuff in the background seemed to be of more interest to some folks...I would have my newest plane out on display and beaming like a new father and someone would say "Hey Mike, is that a ACME cross cut saw hanging on the wall?" or "Nice riding mower."
Just let the air out of your balloon in a heartbeat... ::) :-[
So Paul, I like your nice grey plane...it is 50 shades of Grey....looks kinda like a modified Primary Force??
Mike

Paul,
What engine do you plan to use?
Thanks.
-
Thanks guys. My Wicks order showed up today so got a little blue seam around the canopy. Just to clean it up.
I do like dem blue engines!
OS LA .46

Is it a Force (not sure if that's profile or not) or a Primary Force with flaps?
-
Primary Force does not have flaps. And yes Mike it is amazing what people see in photos after they are loaded into a forum. I have one of my Humbug with me holding it and a lady at the front looking in.
-
Looking really great Paul, can't wait to see it done!

P/S Paul, bring that baby on down here I got everything mowed close! H^^

Hey John I would join you if it were a little closer than a whoop and a holler. Maybe we could get together at Springfied MO sometime.
By the the Force will look sooo much better once you have all the colors on it. You should have seen the P-47 before I messed it up with the Olive Drab.

Ah, you're only a little south of Little Rock. But, Memphis is a long way around to you.

Memphis....Ahhh yes, one very cold January I was Road Captain of a motley crew of bikers who rode out to Memphis to escort the Vietnam Moving Wall, into Little Rock, and on to Ft Roots VA Med center...long cold ride right there! Here's a picture[me on the M/C]!

Hi Paul,
It should really look great once painted, and the LA .46 should be the ticket!

Naw, shoot it with clear now. LL~
-
Hey Big Bear!
I like those .46's!
And yes Randy I thought about just hitting it with clear to save weight but then you could see all the flaws in my craftsmanship. Figure I best cover them with paint. HB~>
I cannot show up at the field with a light plane. No one will think I built it. LL~
