I believe it's a Jack Sheeks Knight, a stunter based on the Rivets pylon racer. It does looks a bit smaller than I remember. ;D

I think the builder is Dave Reyes, and that the Knight was built to the same size as the magazine page plan.  He has also built a Sheeks Spitfire to the same scale...

Correct Dennis, I think you are correct. It definetley  (sp) is Jack Sheeks Knight and yes it is built to the same scale as published in FM. As for the builder I cannot verify.
I found this little gem of 13 1/4" span on a public auction site.  The description says that it was built as per the size of the published plans.

I wish the pics were of higher quality but they still show the intricate workmanship which has been given to this specific model.

Yeah, Jack was at VSC showing off the "Spitfire".  The fellow presented it to him.  DOC Holliday

Really cool stuff to be sure.
I remember back in the day when I had a little bit of balsa and not much else that I might  do this myself. I think I talked myself out of it because I had hardly any experience building with balsa. At that time I mostly had done plastic models. I might actually try it some day but I feel tired anymore.
