With a plane that Cool, it won't have to fly to well to impress the judges, but I bet she fly's just great.

Title: heat is primed now
Post by: frank carlisle on August 31, 2006, 10:09:16 AM

Funny you should ask Richard.

I just now got done cleaning the spray gun after shooting a coat of filler on the plane.
I used Brodak primer thinned three parts thinner to one part primer. Got a few runs and some spots showed up that will take some filling. I'll start sanding it tomorrow. Should be able to get base color on it sometime next week.

Looks very slick. With the paint scheme you're planning, it will be very impressive in the air.

Hey! my nephew might have a truck he will sell you! >:D He just bought a 1949 stake truck. not bad for a 16 year old. He has an old Ford tow wheel drive truck, and a big Dodge 4 X 4. He also owns A Farmall M, a Farmall F20, and his newest tractor a Farmal F20. He has completely restored the M and is working on the F20.  He works hard to earn money, he rents farmland so he can farm it.
