Hershel 'Woody' Williams WW2 Vet passes on.
« on: June 30, 2022, 01:55:55 PM »
As a Baby Boomer in NZ I thank Woody and all US and Allied Servicemen - including my old Dad, who served in the Pacific in WW2. He was 98 years young. May he rest in peace.

Really neat man lots of good passed down from him I think I read he was the last medal of honor winner alive from ww2 area. I have been fortunate to fly and learn from several ww2 area pilots clear back from when I soloed in 73. They were good sticks and were welling to teach you something. Great guys.
