On a tony kit from Rsm does the fuse sides curve and glue on the formers on the bottom. This is pretty good bend.

Google "Warburton Tony" and you will find the plan of original plus the mag docs for reference on Outerzone.
.  Not sure how true to plan/kit from RSM is to Warburton's

While the original may have used strips/planking method, most builders these days would mold top and bottom shells from 2 or 3 layers of 1/32 sheet...pretty tough with the laminating glue. Making the pattern to mold the balsa is a new skill that isn't that difficult and I'm sure that has been pretty well covered in the Building Forum. Selecting the right piece of balsa, add HOT water (some add ammonia), Ace elastic bandages, patiently waiting for it to dry, etc. Some like Titebond, while others use epoxy. Some folks add a layer of carbon vail between the laminations. Add some 1/16" bulkheads every 5"-6" and you got it.  H^^ Steve
