Since Rachel Sandberg's 7th birthday this past May 4th she's been flying more and more on her own. After the past few seasons dabbling with some 1/2A trainers she's now solidly graduated to .15 size flying this season. Here, she's flying her "Challenger .15" designed and built by dad, Keith Sandberg. It's powered by a trusty LA.15 and is a very capable little stunt machine. With a little help yet from dad she loves doing "twirls" (loops) and she's getting close to going for them on her own. She's been practicing quite a bit this season, and the other day she brought a new friend with to watch... ;D

That's great. I always enjoy it when kids take up control line flying. My 9 year old step son is coming along well. We are building a 35 size profile ship for his next plane at the moment.

Thanks for the pictures and it will be great watching another one grow up flying model planes. Keith is so lucky.
