Heavy hearts
« on: August 25, 2006, 03:51:17 PM »
Tuesday evening I received the following message form Clayton Berry:

It is with overwhelming sadness that I report that Henry and Barb Werner of Virginia Hobbysport lost their son David today.

He had been found by his roommate several days ago, unconscious from some sort of fall.  He lapsed into a coma, and did not recover.

His funeral will probably be this Saturday, and I’ll know more about the arrangements in a day or so.

Henry and Barb have been friends of mine for twenty five years or so.  I watched David grow up – it has truly been a sad few days.

I hope you’ll have them in your thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Clayton

My condolence to the Werner family on the loss of their son David. This seems to have been a tough year for sad news here and on the other forums. There have been several instances of acute illnesses and several untimely passings reported. A lot of heavy hearts in our hobby/sport this year.
