A bunch of us Piston Poppers from Minneapolis attended the Polk City, IA contest this past weekend competing (myself as just a lowly spectator/admirer though) and it would be very hard to imagine a more enjoyable weekend. The weather was practically ideal with clear sunny skies, very light winds and 65-70 degree temps. There was great attendance with names like Brickhaus and Woolard among many others. I for one had an absolute blast (even scoring an LA-.25S and a gallon of fuel in the raffle!).
Hopefully someone will be able to post some photos here since I am not able (no techy camera).
