Since you got your Cobra down there why aren't you flying?

The Cobra is broken and here. The plane I was going to fly is a pile of balsa, unfortunately. The other plane I had is not worth taking. I might have gotten something else going, but I had no ride for my plane to Tucson.

So, I'm spectating. But that's fine. It's a blast to watch, too.

Fair enough. I didn't know it was wounded.

I learned a lesson. Don't leave a plane in someone's garage in Tucson. The plane had ball links and the froze up. So the Cobra had an unscheduled landing and suffered quite a bit of damage. It's sitting there forlornly waiting until I decide to actually fix the thing ... or scrap it.

Well Randy, be sure and have a great time.   And Mark it's only a short drive.   I would be there but, I decided to put the money into the old Ford for this year.   I now have air conditioning and a heat gauge that doen't go all over the place.  Found out had a leaky radiator plus bad thermostat.   By the way tell all the guys hi and give the ladies a hug from the old DOC>

Hey Mark family first remember.  I remember my second VSC my oldest daughter went to the hospital a couple of days before we were supposed to leave.   So the wife planned on setting up the van for her and the baby.  Talked them out of that as I told them it would not be good for her or the baby.   Left on a Tuesday morning with pictures of the baby.  Flew OT and Classic.   Then the Monday after I asked Aunt Betty if it was okay if I left to go back home and see the new baby again.  Of course my Mother-in-law was still there and they agreed it would be okay.   Three days later they called to see if I made it okay.  The wife was supposed to call and let them know I made it back early Tuesday.   So take care of that daughter and baby.

And it's over. I had a very good time in spite of not flying. Saw some very good flying and a couple of unintended landings. Weather was nice and it was nice to just be out of the rain for a bit.
