I'm thinking strongly about getting one. Curious about the quality.

Hi John,

There is a full report on this excellent ARC CLPA plane over in the ARF section.

Do yourself a favor: Contact Steve and buy one, you will be very happy when you open the box!  #^

Bigger batteries too. Longer lines, and maybe a bigger right arm. I do have the props 13-4.5 EP and an ESC (CC ICE 50A w/heat sink).  What do you see for watts, avg and peak? The ESC might be marginal @ 850W continuous and 1kW peak.

I'm planning on 5S 3300 mAh Turnigy Nano packs. I have an E-Flite 46, which is ~900 watts, 670 kV. That should allow 9500-10000 RPM with some headroom for governing.

Thinking about having the outer wing come off so it will fit in my Corolla. Might be ready in time for Salem, but probably not well trimmed (If I can get Steve to call me back, he must be traveling).

Yeah, from his last known whereabouts picture, I believe he is in Las Vegas right now. n~
