Harding Productions Skyray Video
« on: March 27, 2011, 08:47:54 PM »
Anyone know how to get in touch with Harding Productions that did the excellent video on the Sig Skyray?   I know they quit making copies some time back but would like to ask some questions.

Hi Bob, I did the flying for that video with Bill in about 1994! I did not have a live mike attached to me for this video as I did later when we did 'Flying The Patterns" with the late Bob Pitken. Both productions were neat and helpful. Try Sig Manufacturing to see if you may still get a copy of the Buinding and Flying Control Line Model Airplanes.

I have a copy of the video Bob is referring to, Building and Flying Control Line Model Airplanes.  It features building of a Sig Skyray 1/2 A/Cox Black Widow and the Sig Skyray 35/Fox .35 stunt.  It is an excellent video for anyone interested in building and flying either or both of these aircraft.  The same company also put out a video entitled Flying the Patterns, covering Beginner Stunt, Old Time Stunt and AMA Modern Stunt Patterns and how to fly the maneuvers.  I think this is the one Phil was talking about starring in, flying his Ringmaster to illustrate the Old Time Stunt Pattern.  Both videos are excellent and should be in every Control Line fliers video library.  Hopefully Bob, will be able to make these videos available to all interested parties once again.........TDurrill    y1    #^    H^^

Do they make them in DVD format.   My old VCR has went to the dogs and is eating tapes faster than I can put them in.

Doc, I got my tapes directly from the company that was producing them and at that time, they were only making tapes.......no DVD's, at that time.  I have never heard of these programs being produced on DVD format.  That does not mean that it was not done at a later time........TDurrill     D>K
