Scratch built Cardinal almost done. BOM.
« on: April 24, 2009, 07:44:00 PM »
Well I out did myself on this one. I know it is over three pounds, cause that is the limit of my scales. HB~>

Anyway excuse all the clutter on the table, have not cleaned up yet. Just have to make sure all the screws are tight. I hope the weather is good this weekend so I can see how it flys.

It is a built up fuse and a foam wing, all wraped in monokote. LA .40. The only good thing is I did not have to add any weight to get the CG. It is spot on with the plans. I just need to wrap the leadouts.

Oh yea - the prop in the picture will be replaced. One blade is cracked, just on the engine while I built.

Oh yea... Brad Walker built up Rudder from Mr. Hyde, and a pop bottle canopy. #^

Thanks Ty. My .46 is on my Tutor. Just might have to search the bay for another one. #^

Way to go.  Looks good from here.   H^^
Did you score another LA46, or steal the one from your Tutor?

I hope for an "at the field" report tomorrow.    x:

Paul,

That looks great and will fly just as good.  It should get you to the next level you are looking for.

Sorry I couldn't get over today.  I hope the winds wait and you all have a great time.

Most excellent Paul, way cool. like everyone already said, you are gonna love it. My arf was 50oz and flew good with my LA40. I'm really leaning toword the 46 on mine. Let us know how it does with the 46 if you put it on. looking for your flight report
