Finally can check out SH on the road

I finally broke down and bought a lap top, so now I can check out SH and SSW the 3 nights I spend in motels a week. I'm not up on these so I went by some reviews I saw. I chose the HP G60-235DX, seems pretty good hope I got a good one. Best Buy sure tryed to sell a bunch of stuff with it but I stuck to the basics. Any of you have experience with this model  any pros and cons you can share    TIA

No experience with that model but, in general, I try to plug mine in when I use it so the battery can stay charged. My battery only runs a couple of hours between charges. I save that time for when I'm not near an outlet.

With a laptop you can switch between couch potato and mouse potato without moving. Saves time.

Hi end lap tops are great for being on the road.  When m original shot c###% after a cup of coffee landed on it, the wife bought me a new one the computor store had on sale.  It was great when I was in the basement or bed room.  Out on the road it was worthless.  Seems it didn't have the proper card internally.  Since moving to the shop the daughter traded computors with me.  I owe her a lot as now I can use it in the shop and where ever there is a link in this great land. 

But, as stated use the power cord as batteries are only good for a couple of hours at most.  DOC Holliday
