YES!! I hope all the Vets out there had a great day today, and a peaceful one. Especially my son Sean and my brothers, Tom, Ted and Terry,  who served in the Navy and the Army and my brother Tim, who spent 40 plus years in law enforcement, and is a veteran of a different kind of war that he went to battle in every day of his career, and my late cousin, Kirkwood, MO PD Sgt William McEntee, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty almost 20 years ago. I include all first responders as veterans, as they share the same kind of brotherhood as the military does.
A big THANK YOU TO THEM ALL!

Thanks.  My Pastor and I went to Denny's where I was going to get a free "grand slam" breakfast.   The first DEI I encountered said she was going to seat us, and we waited.  She then walked out the door and didn't come back.  Then, a few minutes later and other DEI came out.  I told her we have been waiting and could be, please, be seated.   She said  I need a few minutes to see what is going on.   I told her, I can tell in 5 seconds what is going on, we have been waiting 10 minutes to be seated.  She left.    We then went to sit down where there about 20 vacant tables and ANOTHER DEI told us we had to go back to the waiting area.   At that point we left.    Now, I understand why they are near bankruptcy.  I'll never go to one again.
