Title: Hanson Hobby, Mass
Post by: Kev Morgan on January 18, 2011, 09:19:40 AM
Hi Folks

I will be taking a trip to Boston soon and was wondering if Hanson Hobby still exists?? If so will pay a visit but I notice the web site has been down for a few weeks.  Anybody know??

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin, I was in Hanson Hobbies last spring and picked up some balsa wood. I spoke with a older gentleman about his scale control line models that hung from the ceiling. He said he had taken them to the NATS. We also chatted about a Drone Diesel powered Flite Streak of his.   Hope this helps.  Mike

I haven't been to Hanson in a while, but I would recommend HogHeaven hobbies as they have a very good selection of C/L gear and they also have some C/L kits in stock. The drive time would be about the same from Boston, but I would try to avoid the evening commute as the Mass Pike (I90) tends to get backed up in Framingham. If you are looking for a particular kit I would suggest dropping them an email and they would probably have it in store for you when you arrive.   http://www.hogheavenhobbies.com/
