Title: Had to pull the plug on the Regionals.

Poop.  Due to health issues with my wife's father, we have been forced to cancel the trip. Was looking very forward to this.
Most unfortunate. Had several people I was looking forward meeting with again. I guess the lunch I looked forward to having with one of you will have to wait till next year.  Oh well.

Me too.  Sigh...I'm truly bummed out about it.

2 big problems.  Crashed my plane 2 weeks ago and work constraints have kept it's much better replacement from getting finished in time.

No NWR for me this year.

Gary,  the old DOC says family comes first no matter the contest.  Hope it is not really serious. D>K

Yeah, unfortunately it's pretty serious. Congestive heart failure. He had a heart attack in 99 that should have killed him. Been doing "ok" for a long time, but it's recently turned for the worse. She lost her mother to cancer in December, now we are dealing with this.
I suppose it could be worse, but it could be a lot better too.
