Marv,
It isn't a model plane but it is a model I scratch built from wood. The guillotine is on blocks in my basement and has been collecting dust for about ten years.
Soon I am going to contact some local museums and see about donating it.
I made about 400 custom knives over a 10 year period and built the guillotine for a big knife show here in Michigan. I only had it out of the house that one time because it is really big and hard to haul around. It may at first seem a strange thing to build but in the custom knife world it's a pretty cool piece.
I never cut anything with it because the blade is 1090 tool steel and I didn't want it to get dirty or rusty.

Marv,
See the platform it's on? That's my building table now.
And you know I'd never have been able to figure out how to build that thing if it wasn't for building model planes. I mean if you can fit a cowling that works everything else is doable.
Except maybe a printing press.
thanks for the smoot---my smitten der zooten in warming up now.

awww Hank it ain't dangerous. It's just a big cigar cutter.
Yes my wife knows about it. She encouraged me.
It's just one of those things that I had to build. Really took a lot of thinking. Works slick as a whistle though.
