Looks like the "Fury" has a a four banger in it. Can someone tell me the story on it.

Saito 40a.  Shaun Cheung (I think that is his last name).  Flies Advanced (very well indeed, I was judging).  He and Bill Heyworth have been colaborating on how to set up the engine.  I think they are using a 12x6 cut down to 11.25 inch diameter.  Bill says the trick is to leave the needle alone and set rpm with the throttle!  He didn't mention fuel content or whether there are actual modifications to the motor.

Despite wretched weather, the plane ploughed through the maneuvers beautifully.  I don't have the final results for Advanced, but he might very well have won.  I can think of only one other flyer who would have been competitive.  Hard to remember every one of about 40 flights, though.

Question should be asked ; who WASNT there! - Wow what a fantastic event, well done to those who organised it.
