grinder test flight today
« on: December 11, 2013, 07:08:46 PM »
I flew the Grinder today for the first time as an electric. The plane needs some trimming as an electric but it was a good flight that lasted 5min and forty seconds. The lap time was 5.2 and 5.3 with the 111/2X 6 inch diamiter prop I had good line tenshion and did round loop and square loop plus triangle. All of these stunts were done when it was an IC plane. considering the fact that the temperature hung around 30 degrees we only flew once and the electrical system worked the way it was supposed to I will now wait for warmer weather to finish the trimming process. It was a good day! HB~> HB~> HB~> HH%% HH%% HH%% o2oP o2oP o2oP o2oP

Good news on the performance of the plane.  But, here lately, 30F degrees is a heat wave. LL~ LL~

And you didn't even have to wipe off the oil.  Congratulations on a successful flight.

In Montana in the winter time it's always below 0...When the weather gets up to 30 they consider it "Short sleeve time".   <= <=

It's been really cold here in Tucson recently also Temperature today was a high of 62...Brrrrrr.
Hate it when it's this cold!
