Title: Great Spinner!
Post by: Avaiojet on December 09, 2013, 08:56:43 AM
Does anyone know who makes or sells this spinner or this style spinner?

I need it in a 2.5".

Thanks,

Charles

Try Tru-Turn.

Check your email inbox... y1

Bob Hunt

Bob, Thanks for the reply. I don't believe Tru Turn offers a spinner with these proportions.

Thanks,

Charles

Bob told you the correct answer.

Do your research.

TT-2502-B
2-1/2" Standard Aluminum Spinner 2-BLADE

Took me less the 60 seconds to find this on my iPhone.

Well Paul,

Took you less than 60 seconds to make a mistake.   LL~ LL~ LL~

All I can say to that is you are absolutely DEAD wrong. You should do your research. You should also pay more attention to photos and illustrations.

I don't believe you are a graphic designer or an illustrator, so I would imagine it's not your fault you wouldn't pick up on tiny details as someone who may be in the profession.  ;D

So, you are excused.  LL~

The spinner you are really dead cold wrong about, the TT-2502 B, is 2.5" x 2.5".

If you were to examine the spinner in the photo I placed, it's clear that spinner is much longer. Just "look" at it.

Paul, please, I'm having a bit of fun with you.  H^^

In all honesty, I appreciate your input.

BTW, I need a spinner that measures 2.5" D x 3.5" L.  I cannot settle for anything different.

Well, unless it was really close.  n~

Maybe it's a needle nose type spinner?

Did you try Brodak?

Steve

Paul, Steve,

Interesting because I just got off the phone with a sales girl at Brodaks. She said she had nothing that had those measurements. In fact, what she had was a 2.5" X 2.5" spinner.

BAM! There's Steves photo and part number.

Soooooooo, I immediately call her back and chewed her a$$ off. I'm kidding! I'm just kidding!  LL~ LL~ LL~

All kidding aside, I gave her the part number and she found the spinner. They are sending it to me.  #^

Gotta love it when a plane comes together.

Anyway, Brodak's spinner measures 2.5" x 3.25".

I really won't know if I can use it until I see the actual shape.

Thanks guys, you know I appreciate it!!  H^^

Just be careful who is standing in front of that thing.

Watch the knuckles also while flipping the prop.   That is why I quit using needle nose spinners.

Douglas,

Dave Brown's spinners look nice also. Back plate isn't drilled so they may be a tad heavier than a spinner with a drilled backplate? Although you never know.

I will check them out.

Thanks for the info.

Hey, a good Dremel grinder will take care of putting holes in a back plate.  Just remember to balance everything when done.
