According to RCGroups  http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2580525 , Zinger Propellers is/are shut down and out of business.

As much as I'd like to say "So what?", it's still sorta sad that their fine prop kits are no longer available. Probably could blame it on the EPA or some other goobermint agency. Get 'em while you can? I'll pass, but y'all jump on them as you see fit.   Steve

I have no idea, but about every hobby shop in the USA has lots of Zinger propellers in stock. Personally, I think the TF Power Point  wood props are much better, and of course, Xoar props are MUCH better than those. Probably, the owner(s) just decided it was time to retire to Florida and put up a "For Sale" sign.  Somebody might eventually resurect the brand, but hopefully they'll improve the products by several hundred percent. No, I really don't see that happening. Steve

When I called them about 4 months ago, I was told (by the daughter of the owner) the owner is too old to keep the business running anymore, they were selling out the props that were in stock, and that was the end of the business.

I tried a Xoar prop once.  It was given to me by a friend to try out.  Maybe it was a rare bad one but it was no better than a similarly sized Zinger.  It loaded up the engine badly and I gave it back to him.

The best wood props I have used are the BY & O from Brodak.

What about the wood Master Airscrews?  I never tried one.  Any comments, reviews, about them?

I really liked the Zinger 13 and 14-6 props on four strokes and ignition 60's. I still miss Rev-up props.

Joe is close to 90 years old and though he told me 5 or 6 years ago he was going to annual his Bonanza and fly a couple of his many 70's and 80's Pattern ships in his office, he never did those things due to age. It was cool to be able to drive in and pick up some props, Dave Passannante and I were there often just a few years ago when we were teaching our kids to fly models (and replacing blades on Daves Moki 2.10 powered Mustang equipped with Zengali four blader). End of an era true, but he did a lot, and is pretty set in SoCal for his retirement.

FYI.  Tower lists all Zingers as discontinued.  Brodak still has some sizes.

What size did you try, and on what engine/airplane? The Xoar prop was likely much more accurate in pitch than the "similarly sized Zinger". Get some more Xoar sizes and don't forget to spread the word on what works for you!  Steve
