The fruits of my labor
« on: June 30, 2014, 11:29:22 AM »
My Grandson took me flying yesterday. Just a little Piper Cherokee 150, but a heck of a lot of fun. That is my daughter inlaw in the back seat. We did some lazy 8's and some stalls while flying around the pea patch. I had not been up for about 15 years so it was a real treat. I use to fly with the pipeline flyers a lot at work. Colter is a great pilot and lots of fun. He asked my daughterinlaw if she wanted to do some lazy 8's, and she shook her head no. Colter said that means yes. LOL

That looks like fun. I hope the lazy 8's were horizontal and not vertical!

This cartoon is one of my favorites on the topic of pilots...  ;D Steve

Yeah Steve; I am talking about climbing up and doing a sort of lazy wingover, then dropping down and doing another in the opposite direction. We were just playing and having fun. He even decided to live dangerously and let me fly for a while. Not a whole lot you can do with a 150. It was hot and windy so we only went 3 at a time.
