With an awesome sunny and upper 70 degree day and just a light breeze, we had a great day at Piston Popper field in Minneapolis today. A full day was put in by most in attendance with steady flying from about 9:00am until after 5:00pm. These are the kind of days that around here, we wait all winter for. They might be numbered though as we recently found out that we will be losing this flying site come next March, which realistically, is before our regular flying season even begins for the year. We've just gotten this spot roughly developed this season after having to move at the end of last year. I guess we're going to have to hope that Santa brings us some luck over the soon to come off season if we're going to have a place to fly next season. :-\

I hope you find an even better site than you have. David Trible just got us a new site after the City of Lenexa say the current site is zoned agricultural and not recreational. I flew at the new site yesterday and it is rough as you would expect it to be. I am going to make a protable center piece to take with me soon. Even tried keeping one foot planted and spinning on the heel. Knee did not like that. Any way good luck on a new site.

It sure was a great and good long day of flying and lolly-gagging. But we did get some work done for sure. H^^
Thanks again Wayne, Keith and Tony for all the help trimming and working out that Saito on the Nobler "Plan B"
